Have you had a chance yet to take stock of your business incomings and outgoings for the last year? If you monitor business profits and your likely taxation commitments regularly, you’re in the best position to plan properly for upcoming tax payments and minimise any potential Inland Revenue interest charges.

In the meantime, here are some key tax dates coming up in June:

5 June PAYE Large employers’ payment due. File employment information within two working days after payday.

20 June RWT RWT return and payment due for deductions from dividends and deductions of $500 or more from interest paid during May.

20 June NRWT / Approved Issuer Levy Payment and return for May.

20 June PAYE Small and large employers’ payment due. File employment information within two working days after payday.

1 July Provisional tax Third instalment of provisional tax due for May balance date taxpayers.(Normally due on 28 June, which falls on Matariki in 2024). Different provisional tax due dates will apply for those clients who have different balance dates.
