Nicole has over 25 years’ experience in Chartered Accounting, including 16 years as partner in traditional bricks and mortar compliance-based model accounting firms. She also has a strong knowledge base in the property development and construction sector, as a co-director of 20+ years. And she is a director on the Isaac Theatre Royal Board. She understands the highs and lows of business ownership first-hand, from the teething problems to the growth and ongoing pain points, to the successes and celebrations. This makes her an empathetic and trustworthy comrade, and an integral alliance and business partner on your business journey, be it as business coach, business advisor or business mentor.

Nicole founded NH+A as a modern accounting practice, after identifying that clients need more than just an annual set of accounts and a tax return; followed up with one meeting a year (if you’re lucky!) between the client and their accountant. Working with clients on a more regular basis, helping them to look forward, providing education, helping clients to understand the story their numbers are telling them and the levers in their business they can alter to increase profit and improve cashflow is where value lies for NH+A’s clients, as well as being a lot more fun!

Over the past decade, Nicole has designed a business development program that provides genuine value to clients. Compliance work (those financial statements and income tax returns that the IRD and bank require which clients consider a grudge purchase) is a by-product of what has been developed at NH+A. Family is of utmost importance to Nicole and is a core value upon which NH+A has been founded. Being “present” is a strong philosophy of Nicole’s. When not working with clients, Nicole spends her time with her husband, two gorgeous teenage girls and a beautiful dog, Freddy.
